英语中复合不定代词的用法

2. 用法特点

(1) 作单数看待

• Everyone is here.（每个人都到了。）
• Something is wrong.（有些问题。）

(2) 定语修饰语的位置

• Did you see anyone interesting?（你看到任何有趣的人了吗？）
• There is nothing important here.（这里没有什么重要的事。）

(3) 指代人或物

• 含 -body 和 -one 的复合不定代词指人。
  • Somebody is waiting for you.（有人在等你。）
• 含 -thing 的复合不定代词指物。
  • I need something to drink.（我需要一些喝的东西。）

(4) 肯定句与否定句的使用

• something, somebody 等通常用于肯定句。
  • She has something to tell you.（她有事要告诉你。）
• anything, anybody 等通常用于否定句、疑问句或条件句。
  • I don't want anything to eat.（我不想吃任何东西。）
  • Do you have anybody to help you?（有人能帮你吗？）

(5) 所有格形式

• 指人的复合不定代词（如 somebody, anybody）可以有所有格形式（如 somebody's, anybody's）,但指物的复合不定代词（如 something, anything）没有所有格形式。
  • Is this anybody's book?（这是谁的书吗？）
  • There is nothing wrong.（这里没有问题。）

(6) 与 else 的搭配

• Did you see anyone else?（你还看到其他人了吗？）
• She took somebody else's umbrella.（她拿走了别人的伞。）

3. 特殊用法

(1) 部分否定与完全否定

• not every- 表示部分否定。
  • Not everyone agrees.（不是每个人都同意。）
• not any- 和 no- 表示完全否定。
  • I didn't see anyone.（我没有看到任何人。）
  • I saw nobody.（我没有看到任何人。）

(2) 与 of 的搭配

• anyone, everyone 等复合不定代词不与 of 搭配,但可以使用 any one, every one（分开写）。
  • Any one of these books is interesting.（这些书中的任何一本都很有趣。）

• Everyone is welcome to the party.（每个人都欢迎参加派对。）
• I don't want anything to do with that person.（我不想和那个人有任何关系。）
• Something is wrong with my computer.（我的电脑出了点问题。）
